Speaking practice
LingoBite vs Speak
Speaking exercises and listening or reading practice.
Speak asks you to speak and responds to what you say. LingoBite helps you work through videos and texts, but does not offer pronunciation assessment or a live speaking partner.
Feature comparison
Speak focuses on spoken practice. LingoBite provides video subtitles, reading translations and review of saved vocabulary.

Where Speak is stronger
Speak is stronger at turning a lesson into spoken practice. Its curriculum moves from useful phrases to repeated speaking and then dialogue with a tutor. You get feedback on what you say, which LingoBite cannot provide. If your main obstacle is responding aloud, that is a more direct fit than another reading or listening session.
01
Practising an answer
Speak combines a speaking curriculum, spoken exercises, and an AI tutor with feedback. LingoBite does not offer that conversation loop. Its tools help you inspect a sentence, hear it again, understand it, and keep useful language for later practice. Speak’s method, tutor, languages, and plan information
02
Replaying is not assessment
LingoBite’s sentence replay and text-to-speech can support listening and self-directed repetition. They do not grade your speech. If you want a tool to respond to what you say, a speaking-focused product is a closer fit.
03
Bring something interesting to say
Reading and watching can give you topics and expressions to explore in a speaking session. Treat the two activities as connected parts of a routine: encounter language in context, revisit it, then find an opportunity to use it.
